Knew it wouldnt last forever...
Bree has broken her new sleeping habit already. She was sleeping straight through the night, for like 7-9 hours. Saturday night Chris was up with her around 3am, then last night I was up with her at 5am. Ugh! It really messes me up, as we had about 5 nights straight. She would go to bed around 10pm, then Id go around 11pm. Then wed be up
together for he day at around 7am. Oh well...

Girls day out
Bree and I went out with my mom today. We were gone about 6 hours. Thats the longest yet! She was such a good girl. She slept most of the time. Propped a bottle up for her while we walked around the one store. I didnt need a whole lot, it was just nice to get out. Funny thing, most of what I did buy was for Bree. What a spoiled kid! I finally got supplies to make her little clips for her hair. I will be sure to share pics once I make them and try them on her. I also found a bunch of outfits for Bree that were on the sale rack, for 2 and 3 dollars each. What a steal! It was fun, but its always nice getting back to the comforts of home.

Busy Day
We have a busy day ahead of us today. I hope we have fun while were at it! We have a friend coming by that owes us money. So that will be nice to finally have! Then we are going to the new house to see what work theyve gotten done. We hope to be able to pay them today and hopefully get the key. So we can start moving boxes of stuff in and such. And I wanna get decorating and painting done before we get moved in. Its hard doing renos when you live there. Then this afternoon we are heading to London. We are leaving Bree to be babysat by my parents. This will be longest weve left her! We are visiting Chris' brother for a bit. Then we are going downtown for dinner. Then we have tickets to go to MONSTER JAM. I think it will be fun! For those of you who havent heard of this, its monster trucks. Chris is a kid at heart, but I also think it will be neat. Ive watched them on tv before. Well, thats all for now. I gotta get dressed and

3 months old!
Breeanna turned 3 months old today. I cant believe how fast the time is going by. I wish it would slow down! But thats life... We havent done much to celebrate. I have her all dressed pretty in pink. Shes been a sleepy girl today though, and havent had a chance to take pics of her. Every month I take a pic of her and Teddy the bear. She is catching up to him!

Starting to move
Well, weve started moving! Its exciting yet stressful at the same time. I hate living out of boxes... We are going to go get paint for Breeanna's room. I was gonna go pink, but think it will be too overwhelming. So were gonna do it yellow with white trim. I wanna sorta match what she has now. Not have it be where it looks like a rainbow threw up LOL! Chris took a load to the dump, what a releif to get rid of some junk. I just dont know how we accumulate so much crap?! Most of it was his crap though LOL We may be in there before the 21st like we had planned. The landlords are being really good. Well, gotta get Bree ready so we can go. I wonder what else Ill decide to buy? Hehehehe...

A funny!
Have you all seen the Swiffer commercials with the brooms and mops "stalking" their old owners? How the mop peeks from behind the tree? And the song that plays is "baby come back"... Well! Chris very quietly held Bree up and peeked her around the door frame at me to the computer room and sang that song. I about lost it! With her little head peeking at me. I wish I had the camera on when he did it! Im gonna have him re-enact it someday. It was so funny, I about wet myself!

Clothes woes...
Nothing fits me! Its either too tight or falls down. My jeans and other pants are so uncomfortable around the waist. But any of my stetchy lounge pants look frumpy and start to fall down after a few hours of wear. Its extremely depressing! And I still hate to go buy anything when I know my body is gonna still change, I hope! Know whats weird too? I liked my body the best when it was growing and changing when I was pregnant! Ugh... :P

Feeding
Bree is 3 months and 2 weeks now... and her feeding from the bottle is 5-6oz about every 4-5 hours. And she doesnt get up through the night to eat anymore. So shes reaching the 4 month goal already I guess. And now that were moved in and can get into a routine, she eats cereal mid day... Today she had 2 table spoons mixed with the formula added, so Im not sure what that yeilded all together. But she ate it all, plus about 4 oz of formula afterwards. Im so proud of her! And its much more fun to feed her from a spoon then sit back with a bottle.
I feel so bad!
This morning after I gave Bree a bath I was getting her lotioned and dressed. I set the lotion bottle up on the shelf above her and it fell over and knocked the phone off the base. They both fell and the phone hit her in the forehead. I felt so bad :( She cried so loud and long... I just sat there crying with her. She doesnt have a bump or mark at all thank goodness. And she has been happy all day. I just feel so bad it happened. I know accidents happen, but still... I feel so guilty.

Hippity hoppity Easter's on its way!
There is an egg hunt in a local park near here on the Saturday. It says its for ages 0-12. I thought about taking Bree... Chris thinks its silly and shes too young. I just thought it
would be more fun for us! Candy and draws for toys, how could I pass that up? LOL I am also trying to arrange a dinner here the Sunday. Im sure people will come if I plan ahead. With our families growing, its hard to plan things... I wanna get Bree a cute basket to fill with goodies. My mom knit her a pink dress that I hope she will get wear out of!

Men
Chris was so good in the beginning with changing diapers, feeding, holding her. But now he hardly ever does it. And when he does he has to tell me about it and almost brag. It annoys me cuz Im home with her all day doing those same things over and over. And what praise do I get? Bree will be 4 months old next month, and I have realized Chris hasnt given her a bath or trimmed her nails once!

Almost rolled
I have been letting Bree have tummy and back time in just a onesie... She almost rolled completely over tonight! She would arch her back and flip to the right, but her arm was in the way and her head is too heavy. But she almost made it. She pooped herself out and fell asleep! She is very determined though, so I bet she will do it within the next week. And last night, she let out her first real laugh. I tickle her from toe to neck, and she will smile and gasp. But she let out a few actual chuckles. She is so funny, and I love her 100 times more when she does new things. I didnt think I could ever love someone else so much! It hurts!!

Pictures
I havent gotten pictures developed since before Bree was born. I finally went in today and had it done. It took me a good hour to select and alter them. Ugh! I have nearly 200 pics Im getting done. So I will need to get some more albums. As I was looking through them I was giggling and talking to myself. People must have thought I was nuts! Its just I cant believe Bree is gonna be 4 months, and how much she has changed. She was such a little peanut when she was born. So they had a deal where I could develop 100-199- 4 by 6 photos, 5-5 by 7 photos and create a picture CD for $25.97. Great deal, considering what the price would be, $58.88! So Im excited to get them back and sort then out in albums. Then I need to take my latest memory card in and get caught up on them!
Bananas
Each week I try Bree on something new. Week one- sweet potatoes, she liked them.
Last week- peas, didnt like them. Today I tried smashed up banana and she loved it! So thats good, she will share her banana with me in the morning now. I try and give her cereal and something else each day plus her bottles. But I try just one new thing a week to see how she likes it and how she reacts. Her poop has changed to more chunky, then runny. Which is good!

Change in poop
Breeanna's poop is changing. Im sure shed love to know when she is older that her mom discussed her poop with people. Its not as pasty and runny. Its actual turds! This morning, she had one in her diaper, and one stuck in her butt cheeks. Hahaha! Then cuz I was half asleep still, another turd popped out and it scared me! Its much easier to clean her up when theyre little nuggets and its not smeared all over. Must be the change cuz shes not just on liquid now, shes getting cereal and fruit.

4 months old today!
Breeanna May turned 4 months old today. I cant believe it! I almost cried going through her pictures. She was such a tiny little peanut when she was born. We didnt do anything special today really... I did take some pictures of her in a new outfit with her bear Teddy. She has outgrown him :( I also got some pics of her for Easter. I think I will try her on apple sauce tonight as a treat. Im sure she will love it! I went shopping today for Easter, and went overboard! I got her an outfit, some Princess accesories for her newly painted room, a lamb (as she collects them, well I do), and the Despereaux movie for us as a family. She wont remember her 1st Easter, but we will. Its just fun being able to celebrate again with a child. I know she will get spoiled by Gramma and Grampa, as well as my brother on Sunday. I hope! Happy Easter!
I hope you all have a great Easter. We went on an Easter egg hunt today. We were late, and didnt get any eggs :( The few we saw and tried to get, greedy kids and adults would swoop in and grab them. We got to enter a draw for prizes, but didnt win. We did get a juice box, bag of chips and chocolate bar. So we got our money back LOL We then went to take part in a scavenger hunt, but it had been cancelled :( I dyed eggs tonight and made cup cakes. The Easter Bunny is onesneaky guy and has already paid us a visit! I see lots of goodies for us, and he even hid eggs! Snaeaky bugger, musta done it while I was in the bathroom or something? I know Bree wont be able to do much, or remember it for that matter. I just want memories and pictures to cherish for years to come. So we will have eggs and hot cross buns in the morning. Then my parents, brother and his wife are coming for dinner tomorrow night. So lots of cleaning and cooking for me. But its fun, and nice to get together. I just hope everyone behaves!

4 month well check
Breeanna has her 4 month well check today. I am very curious as to how much she weighs, how long she is etc. I have no idea what she weighs?! Id say... 13lbs 8oz? We will have to wait and see. Im sure it will be a shocker! She also gets her needles too. I feel so bad for her, but she amazed me that she did so well with her 2 months shots. I will check in later and let you all know how it went. I cant believe how fast she is growing!
Back 2 Work
This weekend is our work meeting for the season. They have hired 8 new people just for in the box office! It will be nice to see everyone and some new faces. My first day back will be May 2nd. I am anxious yet nervous. Just that I havent worked in 6 months, and Ill be leaving Breeanna :( I am also worried as to how well Chris will take care of her. He is a good Daddy, its just he is neglectful sometimes. I am very on mark and thorough with her routine- like how often she eats, gets changed, bathed, etc. There have been times I have been away for many hours and I get home and she has a full dipaer and is laying in the same place as when I left. Im hoping its just coincidence! Anyways... I will only be working a couple shifts a week, more when we have bigger events. They are being very flexible with me. Like not having me work too late, or too long of hours. Which is nice, its good to be wanted that bad! Its just I know what Im doing and train people well. I may be a bit rusty, but once Im there in the swing of things Ill be fine!

She finally did it!
Breeanna finally rolled today! She was in the front room on her blankie. I went in there after a couple minutes, and she was on her belly. I freaked out cuz I was so happy. I yelled to Chris to ask if hed moved her, and he said no. So I said come here and look at her. He thought there was something wrong, like bad wrong. But shed rolled, but we missed it :( So for about a half hour I sat and watched her, and she did it again! Yay! She gets her legs and butt over, then her arms, then her head. What an awesome thing for her to do and for us to share. I cant get over how fast she is changing. Its just amazing!

Prizes
I forgot to share about the prize I won from the Womens lifestyle show. It was a tray filled with goodies- onesie, bib, 2 pairs of leggings, baby lotion, oil, tea, a shave kit for daddy, 2 lip balms, a water bottle, a cook book, a dangly wooden toy, and a couple other things Im sure Ive forgotten... I couldnt believe it! I never win anything. Today, Chris, Bree and I went to a "Baby, Tot and Me" fair. Got some freebies, like a soother, lotions, etc. and entered lots of draws. We will see how my luck plays out this time. I love going to things like that. And Chris liked telling people about Bree. Strangers just go gaga over her.

Shopping
I went clothes shopping. It was fun and tough at the same time. I was grabbing all bigger sizes- 16 and 18's. Nothing fit properly. So I tried on 14's and they fit! I havent been in a 14 in a few years. Yay!! All I ended up with was a pair of pants, 2 shirts and 2 pairs of shoes. Its a start though! Im quite happy with myself. And I havent been shopping in a while, it looks as though the 80's have returned! All the bright colours, tye dye, big purses, bangles, leggings.... What is the world coming to?!?

Tornado-oh!
Today was a beautiful day to start off. I did some work outside, took a drive, etc. It started to get dark over the lake around 4pm. I could see what was either dust or smoke in the distance. I didnt think much of it until it started getting closer. Then the rain started, and I got up to run out and do up the car windows. But I didnt have time to do so. What I saw in the distance turned out to be a tornado! I watched it pick up everything on my deck and drop it in my laneway by the car. I couldnt believe it! So I yelled to Chris "grab Bree and go to the basement"! But just like that the wind was gone. It was insane, I couldnt believe what had just happened. It rained and hailed, but eventually settled down after about a half hour. I couldnt get over the mess it left behind. All of our patio furniture, a birdhouse, a potted plant, and some more plastic chairs were picked up and dropped. After we had time to look, we do have some scratches on our car. But no biggie. I have heard there is significant damage in towns
east of us as well. I just cant believe I saw it coming with my own eyes, but it
happened so fast I didnt have time to think of what was going on or react. Scary, but glad it wasnt as severe as some. Just thought Id share!

Bad diaper rash
Breeanna has a really bad case of diaper rash. It was pretty much healed up yesterday. But she pooped at some point early this morning. The poop made her really break out to the point some of her skin was bleeding. Poor baby! She doesnt really seem bothered by it, but I feel so sorry for her. I bathed her and lathered that area well with diaper rash cream. I hope it heals up soon.

1st day tomorrow
I start my first day of work tomorrow. Im excited, yet sad at the same time. I look forward to doing something that is for me. And being around adults and different people. Having a responsibility and people coming to me. But I am sad to leave Bree at home. I know its only 6-8 hours at a time, but still... those are 6-8 hours of her life I will miss. Its only a shift or 2 a week, but its still hard. Im at such a tug of war with my emotions. I dont have to go back to work. I just thought it would be good for me to get out and do something different. So many people are shocked Im going back, and think I have to go back. But they wanted me back at work and are being very flexible with me. That extra bit of money will be nice too. I would go back full time like they offered me, but I think my heart would ache too much for Bree. Its just weekends and Chris will stay home with her. And if there is a time he is busy as well my mom will watch her. I used to be a workaholic and loved being there. But now Id much rather stay home and be with my baby and take care of my house.

1st day
My first day back to work wasnt so bad. It was a bit hard getting up to get ready and go, then get side tracked by Breeanna. I just couldnt get enough kisses and "I love you's" in :( But I was on time! Thank goodness I only live a few minutes away now. It was pretty boring, as everyone was there for opening day. Just that there werent enough jobs for all the people. So I just sat and stood around training and telling people what to do. It was pretty easy and the new staff seem to catch on quick. I was a bit rusty on what I was doing, but once I sat down and looked into things I caught on quickly. I like being back and having something to do that is mine. I will just work about 1 shift a weekend, and more once things pick up. Which is fine by me! There is another girl training to do what I do-be able to open and close, do deposits, etc. So
that I get a break and dont have to work as much. It was nice seeing old staff as well, were all pretty close there. I didnt ache as much as I thought I would for Bree. I did only work 5 hours though... But when I did get home she was all smiles and "talking" and very happy to see me. She actually snuggles into you now and sort of hugs you. So ya, not as bad as I thought it would be. So I dont work again until next Friday. We are finally feeling better and the weather is nicer. So I think we will go for a drive and walk today. Funny how the weather predicts your mood and energy level!

Again, finally!
After a 2 week break, Breeanna finally rolled again. I layed her down on her back on the floor while I did dishes. She got really quiet so I went and checked on her and she was on her belly! I put her back on her back in within no time she was on her belly again! I sat and watched her and she rolled back over about 4 times in 10 minutes. Yay! I got a video of her rolling and "talking". She is getting really strong in her arms and shoulders and doesnt mind tummy time now. Before she hated it cuz she couldnt get her head up and she would squish her face into the floor.
Beauty of a day!
Bree and I are gonna pack up and go for a drive. And see where it leads us. I think we will go for a walk on the beach and hit a few shops. Then maybe swing by my Moms. I just cant stand to sit at home when its so nice out and there are things to be seen and done!

On a roll!
Well, now that Bree has been rolling, she wont stop! You leave her for a few seconds and shes on her belly. She seems quite proud. She even manages to roll in her pack and play and her crib! That sort of worries me, like what if she doesnt know enough to keep her face out of the mattress or something? But I think they can move and wiggle around alot more, that they know not to smother themselves. She is so funny!

Mother's Day
I hope you all had a wonderful Mothers Day. Its been a long one for me. Im just glad to be able to sit down with no one bothering me. This morning I had hinted to Chris, it would be nice if he got up with Bree and gave me a few more minutes in bed. Nope... But she is always so nice to wake up to. Giggling and smiling and so happy to see me. I made my own breakfast cuz I was hungry and he slept in. He did get me a lovely card, flowers, some embroidery stuff and a hammer. Why the hammer? Cuz I said I can never find a hammer around here, and he has like 10! So now I will hide this one so I can have one when I need it. I went with Bree to my Moms for a visit. She gave me a card and a magazine subscrition. Nice! I got her towels, bath stuff and chocolates. My brother and his wife showed up, what a surprise! They got Mom a nice plant. Chris had stayed home to clean house and make bottles. Good boy! That was a gift in itself . We didnt go out for dinner, cuz its so packed and busy! So we stayed in and fended
for ourselves. And soon we will settle in and watch a movie. It was a good day considering. Just being a Mommy and having Bree is enough for me, everyday is Mothers Day to me :)

Baby group
Bree and I went to our mommy and baby group today. I didnt know what to expect, but it was fun! It lasted 2 hours, but didnt seem that long. There were about 10 of us and our babies ranging in age from 6 weeks to almost a year. We talked about our pregnancies and labour. And then discussed things the leader brought up. It was nice to be around other moms and babies. And it was so easy to talk to complete strangers cuz we were in the same boat. There were even 2 girls there that I had been in school with. And my friend Jasmine was there as well. I really look forward to going again next week. It is for 6 weeks, but we can continue on our friendships if we want. I found out there is a theatre nearby that has screenings in the afternoon just for moms and kids. And there is swimming at a local pool on Monday and Wednesday mornings. Good to know! We had juice and cookies, just like in preschool. Bree was so good and just loved checking out the other babies. She was especially smitten with a little guy

May 2-4 weekend
I think we only celebrate May 2-4 here in Canada this weekend, right? And next week is Memorial Day for the USA? Anyways, were having a great weekend! Ive had to work the morning shifts. But its fun there and lots going on. Then I have the afternoon and evening to do things with my family. Chris has a friend down for the weekend. He sort of cramps my style, but hes a good guy. Its just weird having another person around. Tonight we are going to the drive in. There is one just across the feild from us. There are 3 movies playing, but Im only gonna watch the one. As I have to work in the morning and get Bree home to bed. Im pretty sure the first feature is "Monsters VS Aliens" the animated movie. It should be cute and fun. I just hope the rain stays away and the guys can sit out in lawnchairs. It would be pretty tight in our car with 3 people and a baby. I hope we have fun!

Things...
She graduated to a size 3 diaper the other day. She was squirting out the sides and back of the 2's. She has such big thighs, just like her momma! She is also sort of sitting up now. It can last anywhere from a few seconds to like a minute. She has started reaching out for me when she wants something. Ugh oh! And I got her one of those mesh things they can hold and suck on fruit or something. Im not sure what the proper name is for it? I mushed up some honey doo melon in it and she loved it. She got very wet and sticky, but she had fun. She amazes me everyday. She has also started letting out a loud shriek, just to get your attention. What a terd!

OMG!
Last night I fed Bree her bottle around dinner time. She burped and tooted afterwards. I layed her down to play on the floor with her toys. I then layed down with her to play. It had been a good 15 minutes since she ate so I figured it was safe. So, I played "airplane" with her- here I hold her above me and she flies around. Well, with no warning, she threw up! All over my face, neck and shirt. My instinct was to close my mouth and eyes, thank god none got in there. So I layed her back down, and blindly made my way to the bathroom. I couldnt believe what had happened! Its that type of thing that you hear about but you never think it will happen to you. So theres one for the books. Oh, and this morning I walked outside with the dog, and a bird pooped on my face. So I think Im good for a while on getting bodily fluids in the face!
Roly Poly Baby
Breeanna has been rolling from back to belly a while now. Well tonight she rolled back to belly, belly to back! I was so excited I squeeled, clapped, and picked her up to celebrate. I think she and Chris both think Im a freak! But Im so excited when she does new things and hits new milestones.

Less work
After this weekend, I will be down to 1 short shift a week. Unemployment informed me I am working too much and that if I keep it up they will stop paying me my benefits. I cant have that happen, and I dont wanna go back to work full time yet. I have until October to be off. So I will just have a short shift each week. Im kind of glad cuz it was getting to be too much. Its hard getting up and leaving Bree behind. And after about 5 hours my heart starts to ache. And I dont get too much time to myself either. Get home, change, make dinner, feed her, get her ready for bed, have a tea and either watch tv or catch up online. I just cant handle it. So Ill be glad to have this weekend over with. I wanna be home and enjoy my daughter and freedom.

Photo shoot
I set up an appointment for Breeanna to have photos done on Monday. She will be 6 months old, so I thought the date was appropriate! Im so excited to see how she reacts and how they turn out. I cant believe my baby girl will be half a year old already :(
Rolling machine!
Bree made me so proud at baby group today. Thank goodness I was around other mothers, or they would have thought I was a freak. I had Bree laying on her back on the floor. She rolled to her belly, back, belly, back! She rolled across the floor to another baby! It was so funny and cool. She was pretty proud of herself. So I of course was clapping and laughing and praising her.

1st birthday party
Bree was invited to her first birthday party today. She seems to have more social engagements than me! There were 5 other babies there, plus Bree. It was so much fun to see them all "play" and hang out with other moms. Bree is so tiny compared to some babies close to her age. One little girl is just 8 months and shes so chubby, almost like a stay puff marshmallow baby! And some babies can be so rough, I guess they dont know there own strength and you cant really scold them. It was fun watching Mia (the birthday girl) open gifts, eat cake, etc. Bree even got a goodie bag- some candy (I ate) a headband, a moracca, sand play set. Good deal!

6 months old!!
Breeanna turned 6 months today. I cant believe I had her that long ago. The time has been just flying by! We went and had pictures done today. She did so well and they turned out great. I dont get them till 7-10 days from now. I ordered 4 different poses... I couldnt pass them up! She was such a ham, as usual. The photographer loved her, she was so good and didnt cry. Then we went shopping. She got spoiled, as usual... I got her a new ball (Max stole and ate her other one), a little stuffed lizard and a REAL blow up pool. The pool is amazing and I cant wait to get it set up! You will just have to wait and see how cool it is :) She napped quite a bit tonight and shes gone to bed
now. Days like that really take alot out of her. She has her 6 month check up tomorrow. I have a list of questions just to be sure shes on track. Im so anxious to see what she weighs! Im guessing between 15-16 pounds, cuz shes so light and petite yet... I will have to wait and see!
6 months old!
Trying to be healthy
I have been trying to eat healthier, and exercise more. I think its working, just the belly isnt going away. Chris is getting sick of the food though I think... Ive been having salads, sandwiches, wraps, veggies and dip etc. He is 120 pounds and can eat anything and never gains a pound. He likes casseroles and meat and potatoes. I just cant handle that. And I dont want to cook 2 different meals. Hes just gonna have to deal with it! Im also walking more. My favourite place is the beach. They redid the whole beach front and its fun to walk and play there. Chris really isnt in to it, so Im glad I have Bree as a playmate. They have a cool new play park and water park. I cant believe how nice it is! I am also doing my own baby yoga. I just do lifts and poses with Bree. Its fun for her and I and it doesnt really feel like a work out.

6 month well check
Breeanna had her 6 month check up today. She is doing great! She is 14lbs 5oz. She has almsot doubled her birth weight, she was 7lbs 3oz. So thats pretty good! She is 64cm long, so she grew over an inch in 2 months. The doctor talked about alot! I just wanted to cover all the bases. He says regular Similac is best. Not to mix her cereal too thick. To be sure she gets her fruit. And to give her about 4oz juice a day, and not to dilute it. That should help with constipation, and if not he may get her a laxative. She got her shots, and did good again with them. Just one long scream and turned red. Then giggled once she caught her breath. Shes so funny! So she doesnt go back till shes like 9-10 months old. I have to call in August to get the appointment set. We then went birthday shopping for Chris. He will be 27 on Thursday. I ordered him an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen, with Mater on it from Cars. He loves that movie! As well got him a "Daddy and Me" frame, which I will put a picture of him and Bree in. He said not to get anything, but how can I not?!

Swimming
Breeanna and I went swimming for the 1st time today. Chris wasnt crazy about us going, so I kept holding off to avoid his bitching. He has an issue with water, hes afraid of it! We had a pool at our last place, and he went in the pool once, in the shallow end. I dont want him to instill that fear on her. Anyways... I finally got up and went this morning. The place is so nice! Mommy and baby friendly change/bath rooms. There is a shallow pool, all one depth, and its super warm! So we were in there. Bree looked so cute in her swimmers and bathing suit. And I was amazed I fit in mine! There were other ladies there from our playgroup, so it was nice to know someone. Bree loved it, she giggled and spit bubbles and yodelled like she does. The little swimmer diapers float, so it was neat to hold her out in front of me. She kicked, waved her arms, tried to drink water... We spent almost the entire hour in there. like prunes. We will definetly be going every week now! I think it ends in July though, once kids are done school and swimming lessons start :( We also went for a walk at the beach. It was such a nice day out, I had to do as much as possible. They redid the water front, like a million dollars worth of work. It looks amazing! We walked down to the water. I let Bree touch the water and sand with her toes. But ther water is still so cold, I had waves splash up and I screamed and scared her. We will definatly be going back once it warms up. They have a lovely board walk, benches, a gazebo, play set and splash pad. Such fun!

Visit with Friend
This afternoon I went to visit my friend. We had a lovely visit and her kids are the cutest. They were gaga over Bree, but who isnt? It was cooler today, but we still made it down to the beach. Bree loved the feel of the sand, she even tried to eat a handful! She even had some stashed in her pocket. The kids played in the water, as well as the dog. And get this! Their dog peed on me!! I was sitting on a big peice of drift wood, and he came along and cocked his leg on my back. I didnt even feel it, but I could hear it trickling down! What a guy... Anyways, she told me what has been making her sick. She has Mineire's disease. Her inner ear will swell up with no warning. It causes extreme pain, ringing in the ear, and throws off balance. It can last from a few minutes to a few days. The doctor wants her to work part time, and not to drive much. But her work didnt have part time to offer. So thats why she is off work now. And she has really enjoyed staying home with the kids. So her condition isnt life threatening, but still a pain! I was afraid she was gonna tell me she had cancer or something! Im happy were so close and she was able to tell me that. Overall, we had a wonderful afternoon together!

Fathers Day
Bree got Chris a shirt, shorts and a Daddy and Me book. Im just gonna get my dad a bunch of scratch tickets. Lame I know, but he likes them and is so hard to buy for! Chris is bummed his dad isnt back yet. Theyve been on a sailing trip since last August and hoped they would be back the beginning of June. So hes upset he has missed so much, and most recently his birthday. Anyways... Chris doesnt want to do anything special. My mom has invited us to a BBQ tomorrow for supper, and he says he doesnt want to go. Well I would cuz its my parents and dad and my brother will likely be there
too. So we will see...

Crawling?
Im not sure what you would call what Bree did today. She rolled and rolled in a semi cirle. She then kicked out one leg while she was on her belly. She was reaching for books and dvd's that are on the bottom shelf of the entertainment unit. I was so proud of her and she was pretty proud herself. Im not sure if it could be considered a crawl or not. A wiggle or a scootch I guess you could say. Im starting to get worried about her moving quick like that and possibly getting hurt. I know we cant keep them 100% safe at all times, but its good to try and prevent it. I think I may make one area of the living room her area...
Wiggling all over
She can flip and flop and roll all over! Here is a funny :) I put her to bed, but could still hear her cooing away up there. I head up the stairs, and she is peeking out the side of her crib at me, I laughed and she laughed! Within a few minutes, she flipped end for end in bed and was on her belly. Too cute! So I read her like 3 books, short ones mind you... and she was still wide awake. And she didnt have as many naps as usual today. What a kid! Then I just checked on her now, and she had her legs up over her bumper pad, sticking out the rails of the crib. OMG!!

1st haircut!
We took Bree for her first hair cut today. Ive been very hesitant, but made the decision today. She just got a trim above her eyebrows. The hairdresser did it so it blends with her side hair. She looks very cute! And Im happy the hair is out of her face, so is she Im sure! I kept the hair, and she even got a certificate for her first haircut!
